In 2013, First Foundation (Hong Kong) Company Limited established a wholly owned subsidiary— NewMat Plastic Technology(Shanghai)Co,.Ltd., researching formulation, developing new applications and production of engineering plastics and thermoplastic elastomer. The division has been focusing on meeting increasingly strict requirements on the design, quality and performance of plastic products in the domestic market.

After years of research and development, numerous grades of NewMat engineering plastics and Easiprene thermoplastic elastomer have been launched to serve the needs our demanding customers. Today, NewMat’s research and production facilities are located in Fanling, Hong Kong and FengXian district, Shanghai. In recent years, the NewMat team in Shanghai has made greater effort expanding the product lines, continuously improving production processes and technical equipment, and developing multiple hardware systems to improve production efficiency and product quality.

In 2018, NewMat Plastic Company successfully applied for 11 software Patents and 10 utility model patents. additionally, 3 invention patents are being reviewed. All these great efforts were honorably recognized and lead to the title of “High-Tech Enterprise” issued by Shanghai City Government.
