On May 24, 2016, the 12th China International Battery Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “CIBF 2016”) hosted by China Industrial Association of Power Sources officially opened in the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. On the Fair, SOLVAY showcased the 4th generation of electrode binder with super binding force and outstanding flexibility.
As introduced by Dr Chenjiang Zhu, Sales Development Manager of Fluoro-Chemical and Electronic Products of SOLVAY, the products of SOLVAY cover electrode binders, battery separator coating materials, electrolyte additives, battery structural polymers and Aquivion membrane used for redox flow batteries. The 4th generation of electrode binder showed by SOLVAY this time is a new generation of product following Solef 5130 and 5120 PVDF, which can improve the lifetime and safety of high-end consumer electronics and car batteries.
At the same time, during the CIBF (2016), SOLVAY also exhibited a number of metal replacement materials for EV battery modules including Amodel PPA , Ryton PPS, Ixef PARA.
