The explosion in Zibo, Shandong a few days ago has an influence on Nylon 66 raw material localization of China.

The factory, with a registered capital of 200 million Yuan, is subordinate to Shandong Runxing Chemical Technology Co. Limited., and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Runxing Investment Group Co. Limited.

The separator caught fire and led to the explosion of cyanide tanks during a pilot production stage.

Runxing Chemical is constructing an installment project with 6 billion Yuan investment.
On May 15th, 2015, the mid completion ceremony of whole project of 100,000 tons of ADN capacity each year was hold on time and began to enter the system integration stage.

It is reported that the ADN project of Shandong Runxing Technology, based on a production process of electrolytic coupling of acrylonitrile, played an important role of ADN production in China.

Last year, INVISTA, one of the leading ADN suppliers in the world, unveiled its plan to construct 300,000 tons of ADN capacity in China as a part of the plan integrating its Nylon 66 production base.
