The French chemical enterprise Arkema announces that it will increase its production capacity of the PEKK material in France and America in order to meet the demands for carbon fibre composite materials and 3D print applications.

The production capacity in France will be doubled in the first half of 2016. The Company will also set up a new world scale production base in Alabama, U.S.A., which is estimated to be completed and put into production in the second half of 2018.

Arkema employs 19,000 staff members worldwide and has research centers in France, North America and Asia.
