The world’s leading chemical company, BASF announced the opening of a polyurethane technology development center in hope of providing customers better service. It can provide the Pakistan market the latest development in various fields, including appliances, furniture, construction, shoe manufacturing and transportation.

BASF plant in Karachi has a wet lab, a dry lab and foam cutting area. The labs are equipped with the most cutting-edge technology to suit customers’ needs. Furthermore, it provides customers with polyurethane application training courses in various fields.

Asia Pacific Vice President of the Polyurethanes Business Performance Materials, Hyoung Soon Moon, states at the inauguration ceremony, “This center was established to strengthen BASF’s marketing network in Asia and is another milestone. We will work with customers to continue conquering new challenges ahead.”

Qazi Sajid, BASF Pakistan General Manager, said this about the new center, “With these resources, we can provide customers with better and faster service – enhancing the quality and efficiency.”
