Airbus launched a new A400M military aircraft, one of whose highlights is its latest installation – ice protection plate. The protection plate is made with PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) resin provided by Celanese Corporation, designed and manufactured by Ten Cate Cetex Corporation.

The reason to choose PPS resin to make the ice protection plate is because of the material’s excellent impact resistance, and strong corrosion resistance. The PPS made protection plate can protect aircraft body from being damaged or limit the damage during bad weather condition.
