British plastics manufacturer Brett Martin launched a new highperformance copolymer (PETG). This product not only retains its original features, but also offers outstanding optical clarity and light transmission. It has superior chemical and fire resistance.

This new product, known as Marpet-gFS, is a copolyester with high moldability. It is ideal for such fields as construction and printing. Brett Martin said that Marpet-gFS can replace polycarbonate, solidacrylic and PVC sheets in a wide range of applications.

According to a spokesman for Brett Martin, this copolyester is produced from recyclable substances, it is also fully renewable, making it an eco-friendly material.

Given its moldability, Marpet-gFS can be adapted to extreme processing environments. Through special processing, this new copolyester can be processed to make complex-shaped and high-performance products. Industry insiders predict that this new material is set to become the rising star in the market.
